Day 2: Exploring the Dolomites

A journey among the ancient flavors of Trentino and along the magnificent passes of Trentino-Alto Adige

The second race day started from Piaz de Ramon in Moena, the famous Fairy of the Dolomites, whose peaks at sunrise and sunset are tinged with wonderful shades of pink.

The competing crews, greeted by the sun, started the journey by heading towards Passo San Pellegrino (1918m) and Caprile, where the historic and modern cars stopped for a quick coffee break.

The participants then continued the route towards Alleghe and began the ascent to the enchanting Dolomite passes. For the 2022 edition, the cars managed to tackle the challenging peaks of Passo Giau (2236m), Passo Falzarego (2105m) and Passo Valparola (2168m).

Once reached the hamlet of Armentarola, a small oasis in Alta Badia, located at 1620m and surrounded by the enchanting alpine landscape, the participants reached Colfosco. In Selva di Val Gardena, after the lunch break, the caravan set off again towards Passo Gardena, to continue in the direction of Ortisei, Passo Pinei and Siusi. After the stop in Fiè dello Scilliar, the race continued in the direction of Bolzano and Passo Tires. The cars, once over the Costalunga Pass, returned to the beautiful town of Moena.
