The 37th edition of Stella Alpina across the most spectacular Dolomite Passes

Stella Alpina during Saturday, June 4 will cross some of Italy’s most iconic Alpine Passes. In occasion of the regularity rally, the participating crews will reach the Giau Pass, situated at 2236 msl connecting the towns of Colle Santa Lucia and Selva di Cadore with Cortina d’Ampezzo. The Giau Pass, well-known for being a passage of the bike tour Giro d’Italia, the effort of the climb is rewarded with the breath-taking sight of Monte Averau waiting all the crews at the top.

While the race continues towards Falzarego Pass, some of the most spectacular sceneries in the world will unfold: a crown of high peaks hugging onto the green valley below, dotted with small villages whose characteristic buildings are a mix of Mediterranean and northern European styles.The Pass, situated at 2109 msl, famous for the Giro d’Italia, connects the Agordino area with Cortina d’Ampezzo trough the Dolomite Road 48.

The crews will then reach the Valparola Pass, where participants will be taken aback by the marvels of nature and its imperfect shapes and harmonies. The Pass, situated at 2192 msl, served as battleground during World War I and for this reason hosts a dedicated Museum.
